“Stop Saying You Don’t Have Time! Get Fit in 20 Minutes. Why You DO Have Time to Exercise”

To say we don't have time to exercise is straight-up nonsense. Yep—we're going there today. We're eliminating every excuse, because saying “I don’t have time to work out” is not valid anymore.
We hear it all the time:
"I'm busy with work."
"I'm chasing after the Children."
"I'm dealing with house duties."
"I'm just too tired."
"I'm too old"
And yes, we get it—life is demanding. But that’s exactly why we should be exercising. Because stress, when unchecked, wrecks the body. And poor health doesn’t wait until you're free.
So let’s do some quick math—because math doesn’t lie. Do you spend more than 30 minutes watching TV? Do you spend more than 30 minutes scrolling social media? Do you wait in line for food or snacks that don’t benefit your health? If the answer is yes—and for most of us, it is—then you do have time. The issue isn’t time. The issue is priorities. We make time for the things we want to do and find excuses for the things we need to do.
That might sound harsh, but sometimes the truth needs to be direct. This isn’t judgment—it’s love. And love speaks truth so you can grow.
Here's the real deal: Everyone has 20 minutes a day to spare. Yes, you do. And in that time, you can cook a healthy meal, prep your food for the week, or move your body.
Stop waiting on a workout partner too. If they cancel, do you cancel on your health too? We should be self-motivated, because we alone are responsible for our well-being. And if you need support, there are tons of group classes, online communities, and fitness apps that can help—but don’t let lack of a partner be your excuse.
Ironically, we don’t need an eating partner when we indulge in unhealthy food. We just do it. So let’s apply that same energy to our wellness.
So what can 20 minutes a day really do? A lot. Walk. Jog. Jump rope. Use that treadmill or elliptical machine collecting dust. Do squats, pushups, or a quick home circuit. Sweat, breathe, move—just start. The best part? Exercise begins working as soon as you begin. You’ll feel better, clearer, stronger—immediately.
Let’s get real: if we can wake up and reach for our phones first thing in the morning to check social media, we can take those same 20 minutes to stretch, walk, or break a sweat. It doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to happen.
So today, we’re asking you to do one thing: Make a plan. Write it down. Fit in your 20 minutes. That’s less time than one episode of your favorite show. And if we can binge-watch Netflix, we can definitely commit to our health.
Let today be the day. Get up - Get out - Get moving. Your health isn’t waiting. And no one is coming to do it for you. Let’s go, you can do this.
