Washington, D.C. — Today, we spotlight Brother Frank Muhammad, CEO of First Fruit, whose tireless dedication and unwavering love for the community have made him a pillar of hope in Potomac Gardens. With sweat, tears, and a deep sense of purpose, Brother Frank has committed himself to being a role model for the youth—showing what leadership, consistency, and genuine care look like in action.
For years, Brother Frank and his team have provided programs that tackle the pressing social issues confronting our communities. These efforts deserve not only recognition but also widespread support from those who believe in uplifting future generations.

Following the Call to Action
On November 17th, men from across the Nation of Islam gathered for a national Men's Meeting. The message was clear: We must make our communities safer, stronger, and better places to live. Importantly, the instruction was that our meetings must move beyond “feel-good” conversations and become centers of real action and solutions.
Brother Frank took this charge to heart.
Not only did he implement those instructions immediately, but he also brought young men to witness the gathering—exposing them to men of all backgrounds unified by a common purpose, beyond religious or political differences. It echoed the spirit of the Million Man March of 1995, which urged Black men to return to their communities as better fathers, husbands, and leaders. Brother Frank continues to embody that pledge.
Building a Beachhead in the War for Our Youth
Potomac Gardens mirrors many communities across the nation that face poverty, broken family structures, and inadequate educational support. In a very real sense, the fight to save our youth is a war—a war against hopelessness, underdevelopment, and systemic neglect.
Imagine if organizations across Washington, D.C.—and across America—joined Brother Frank’s efforts. Imagine each group adopting a building or a block, creating “beachheads” of stability, guidance, and opportunity. Potomac Gardens could become the model, the litmus test, for what unified community leadership can achieve.
And here is the next crucial step:
We Encourage Those in the D.C. Area, Especially Members of Brother Frank’s Organization, to Adopt a Building.
Imagine every building in Potomac Gardens having a dedicated mentorship team—men and women who consistently show up, build trust with families, guide young people, and demonstrate that group strength is real strength.
This model would not only multiply Brother Frank’s impact but show the youth that their community is organized, present, and determined to help them succeed. Each building would have its own circle of support, its own mentors, and its own programs—creating a powerful network of unity and protection.

Real Work, Real Results
Brother Frank recently led a series of initiatives that highlight his commitment to developing young men into strong, responsible citizens. He shared:
“An amazingly busy week of inspiring, motivating, teaching, and training these young gods to tap into their Godhood. We started on Monday with their reporting to the NOI Men’s Only Meeting. On Tuesday we took them to open bank accounts. On Wednesday we took them to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles to take their learner’s test.”
This is what application looks like—not theory, not rhetoric, but real steps that move young people toward independence and purpose.
Brother Frank continued:
“This is what the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan meant about us as men taking on the responsibility to make our own communities a decent and safe place to live. It’s going to take us—fearless and dedicated men—reporting to the hood, earning the trust of our youth, and moving them into a life of productivity for themselves, their families, and their community. The Mighty FOI of DC are on that.”
The Power of Unity and Shared Work

No man is an island. Every successful effort requires support, collaboration, and collective will.
Whether from the organization Brother Frank represents or from other grassroots groups, the message remains the same: unity strengthens everything. The work in Potomac Gardens serves as a clear example of what dedication can accomplish—and what could be achieved on a larger scale if more people stepped up, adopted a building, supported programming, and stood with leaders who have already laid the foundation.
Leaders like Brother Frank understand strategy, organization, and long-term planning. Their experience can guide the growth of new programs and help measure progress in real terms.

A Call to the Community
The work being done in Potomac Gardens is more than a local project—it is a blueprint. It demonstrates that when committed men and women unite with purpose, real transformation becomes possible.
Let us support those who are doing the work.Let us lift up leaders like Brother Frank Muhammad. And let us step forward—building mentorship, adopting buildings, and strengthening our presence—so our youth know for certain that they are not alone.
